Siblings of Special Needs

About Us

CREATING

PATHWAYS

..to a brighter future

We are dedicated to helping siblings of people living with disability in Nigeria

Siblings of Special Needs Foundation (SOSNEEDS NIGERIA) is a non-profit organization focused on advocating policy changes to improve the lives of people living with disability in Nigeria whilst raising awareness on neuro-diverse developmental issues such as Autism, Autism Spectrum Conditions, ADHD, Dyscalculia, Dyslexia, Dyspraxia DCD, and all forms of Intellectual Disability, whilst proffering mental health family counselling and therapeutic solutions to thousands of families coming to terms of acceptance of one condition or the other.

Empowering families to create brighter futures

At SOSNEEDS, we are committed to empowering families by providing the tools, knowledge, and support they need to navigate the unique challenges of caring for individuals with special needs. Through advocacy, counseling, education, and community programs, we help families build stronger connections, foster inclusion, and unlock opportunities for brighter futures. Together, we create a supportive network that ensures every family can thrive.

Leading the Way in SEND Law and Advocacy

SOSNEEDS Nigeria is also the only dedicated SEND (special education needs and disability law) centre catering to trainings, internships and representation on SEND Law, Elder Law, Assistive Technology Law, and everything covering legal guardianship. The Legal partners of Bodtink Legal Practitioners helps to facilitate all legal trainings as well as pro-bono representation for people living with disability in Nigeria.

I started this inclusive community organization based on my own lived experience as a Sibling to an amazing person living with a neuro-diverse condition and the challenges both her and our family had faced. My vision is to create a space where children and adults living with neuro-diverse conditions and disabilities can thrive without barriers.
